Business is about solving other peoples' problems.
If you want more customers, start with educating your leads. Don't, however, overwhelm them with all you know about a subject. Instead, give them an aha-experience, or help them reach a specific goal.
Take them along the way from where they are now, to where they want to be.
If you can do that, if you can actually do it, it builds trust.
Why? Because instead of claiming you're the expert in some field, claiming you can help me, you've actually helped me. I know you now. You're the one who actually got me a result.
